monsoon time in memphis again

Well it's May 19th and we're headed for more rain this week.

So many people were taken from their homes just

two weeks or so ago by flooding. Is God trying to tell us to move to higher ground or what?

I am excited to be playing music again with a friend down the street and a drummer he knows. We already have a big outdoor party to play on July 4th, which is on a Sunday this year.

Should be great fun. Come to Zinnie's East on Madison

in Memphis on July 4th and see us play about sunset, but come around 3 to see all the bands . . . .

April showers....

It's Friday and the big rain is over for this week.
I am glad to see some good weather coming this weekend
for a change and it's only three weeks till I see Jeff Beck
play down at the river. I get inspired to play my guitar more at times like this and it's fun. Gotta go update my guitar blog now, so see ya.....
